What is the easiest way to make a file size of a picture smaller so that I can upload it to the site for my profile picture?

Great question! First off, welcome to the Wapiti Wild community! There are a few options and depends on which operating system (OS) you are using:
1) There is a crop tool that you can use when uploading a profile picture built in to the Wapiti Wild website, so that alone might be what you are looking for. Just start adding the profile picture in your account settings and you will be prompted to crop the image automatically.
2) You could try a free online tool like: https://imageresizer.com/
3) If using iOS (MacBook/Apple), you can open the image, click “Tools” –> “Adjust Size” and then change the size.
4) If using Windows, try launching Microsoft Photos or Microsoft Paint and opening the image. Alternatively, find the picture in Windows Explorer, right-click the image and click “Open with”, then choose Photos or Paint. In Photos, click the three dots at the top and click “Resize image”.
I hope one of these helps! Let us know which of these options worked for you or if you have any further questions.

AZ Free Man – I realized after responding that you wrote “file size”, not “image size.” Again it will depend on whether you are using iOS or Windows (or another OS), but try one of the following:
1) For iOS, open the photo, click “file” –> “export” and then adjust the image quality to a low setting.
2) For Windows:
2a) Microsoft Photos
Open the image in the Photos app, right-click, and select Resize image. You can adjust the width, height, file type, or quality. For example, reduce the quality to 80% or some other value less than 100%.2b) Microsoft Picture Manager
Select the image, click the Picture Tools Format tab, and then click Compress Pictures. Under Resolution, choose an option based on how you plan to use the image, such as Print, Web, or E-mail. (In this case select “Web”)2c) Microsoft Paint
Open Paint or right-click the image and select Paint in the Open with menu. Click the Resize button on the Home tab, then choose Percentage or Pixel. You can also check Maintain aspect ratio if desired.Hope that helps!!
